Pittsburgh Symphony at Hartwood Acres

Over 20 Der Sitzmarkers ventured out on a warm summer day to listen to the Pittsburgh Symphony on July 6.  After a bit of picnicking and talking we waited for some nice patriotic music as an end to our July 4th celebrations.  The concert started with the National Anthem and ended with a final tribute to our servicemen and women by playing the songs of each branch of the services.  The rest of the performance was a disappointment to most of us as it included Bach, Dvorak, etc. Not the music we came to hear and many left early and sad about the program.  I will try one more time this summer to get us together for a concert though I am still trying to pick a perfect performance.  Any suggestions?
