Joe Hrason reported that although the weather wasn’t great on July 5, a few of our members enjoyed the Hartwood Acres concert and drone show. Dot has planned a monthly Hartwood Acres event this summer season. Thank you, Dot.
Our picnic is scheduled for Sunday, August 9 at the Orchard Link pavilion at Hampton Park. So far only 26 members have signed up. If members wish to use
the swimming pool, they will need to pay the regular pool admission fee. The picnic will take place rain or shine.
Patty Adams asked that the membership form for the 2026-2027 season be included in the August newsletter since memberships are due in September.
Dick Adams reported a balance of $1601.00 in the treasury.

18 members experienced wonderful weather in Mount Rainier and Olympic Nat’l Parks July16-24, while Pittsburgh was in the 90’s and experiencing the smoke from wildfires. Gardens in Victoria, glassblowing in Tacoma, museums and awesome mountain views were among the many activities enjoyed on this trip!
