For our first free concert this summer we will be gathering on the lawn at the amphitheater at Hartwood Acres at 4000 Middle Road in Allison Park, 15101. The amphitheater is on Middle Road just off Hart’s Run Road. There are lots of Port-o-Johns available. The program is by Yacht Rocket (Dad’s Rock). “It is a vibrant & exciting band celebrating the 70s & 80s genre ‘yacht rock’. For fans of Steely Dan, Toto, the exhilaration of escape & everything smooth.” They will begin playing at 7:30 and it is a rain or shine event.
You are invited to join us around 5:30 to eat and socialize. Bring a lawn chair and your dinner and beverage or buy something from the food and beverage trucks that will be waiting for you. Feel free to bring a snack to share. We will meet in the first parking row where there are canopies set up. We will be toward the side with the food trucks. Weather permitting, I will have a blue pop-up canopy set up with a table for snacks. Look for the Der Sitzmark sign in the front window of my blue Subaru. Please check the weather for the forecast.
